Sometimes some common dark screen fault because lcd cable , Thinkpad T20,T21,T23,T4X, R50--R52,T400; Acer 4710,4720,4920,4930 ;HP : CQ40,CQ45 ,CQ41, DV4 ; DELL 1310, 1320 ; Lenovo : V450,Y430 ,T430  etc.  The lcd cable of these notebooks cause dark screen fault easily , but not always . Your loyal friend - Pinkney ,http://www.htic-tool.com
